The AMQP component supports the AMQP 1.0 protocol using the JMS Client API of the Qpid project.
Maven users will need to add the following dependency to their pom.xml

AMQP Options
You can specify all of the various configuration options of the JMS component after the destination name.
The AMQP component supports 99 options, which are listed below.

Consumer priorities allow you to ensure that high priority consumers receive messages while they are active. Normally, active consumers connected to a queue receive messages from it in a round-robin fashion. Messages will only going to lower priority consumers when the high priority consumers do not have credit available to consume the message, or those high priority consumers have declined to accept the message (for instance because it does not meet the criteria of any selectors associated with the consumer). |

Use this with caution as the data is using Java Object serialization and requires the received to be able to deserialize the data at Class level, which forces a strong coupling between the producers and consumer! |

Using topics

Keep in mind that both AMQPComponent#amqpComponent()
